WHAT IS THIS WEBSITE and the NETWORK ABOUT?
We (the Citizens of the United States - and the World) are not
currently getting the information we need: for our personal
understanding of the world, nor for us to democratically govern.
This website is (or hopefully will be) but one of many similar
and collaborating websites forming a NETWORK called:
'OUR-SHARED_INFO' (O-S-I for short). Working together we collect
and make the full panorama of 'missing' public information
accessable to all of us.
There is no hierarchy of any sort. Info is gathered and
shared at the 'grassroots' level. Censorship is impossible.
Insertion and propagation of data content is determined by our
citizenry using impartial polling and validation. And anyone
can access any of the data.
The intent is to enable us 'ordinary persons' to gain a good
grasp of world-wide reality - in order to effectively
participate in governent (locally, regionally, and world-wide)
'of, by, and for the people'.
It is also intended to provide information useful in personal
life: making good choices in finding shelter and purchasing
goods, and more. Any topic of mutual, general interest is
a potential information candidate.
Also, and very important, the otherwise ubiqutous, distracting,
annoying thing called COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING is excluded!
